The exhibition will show the public an amazing view of the tomb of the first Chinese emperor, who was able to unite China, ending a period of chaos among all the Chinese states. His Terracotta Army is known as the Eighth Wonder of the World, and when it was discovered in 1974, more than 8,000 fighters were found! At the exhibition, visitors can learn about the life of the first Chinese emperor, look in detail at the elaborate sculptures of clay soldiers and horse-sized horses that were imported directly from Xi’an, China. The exhibition is wandering and follows up on exhibitions held in the Czech Republic, namely in the cities of Karlovy Vary, Zlín, Olomouc, Most, Kladno, Ostrava and Pardubice. Until now, more than 70,000 visitors have visited the exhibition. The aim of the activity is to revive the cultural life in Prešov region and bring the eighth wonder of the world closer to our citizens.
